The World Beaters monitoring and evaluation process enables teachers to reflect on how the project has helped children to achieve early learning goals. These are some of the comments made by teachers working in nurseries that have run our projects. 'Children listened well and followed instructions. Ground rules established during music sessions enabled them to work as a group.' (Helen Carlyle, teacher at the Cippenham nursery, Slough). |
||
'Children with behavioural difficulties learnt to conform to activities because order, routine and length of session were appropriate. Children conversed openly and articulately with musicians.' (Kursum Pattel, headteacher at Lea nursery, Slough). |
