World Beaters brings rhythm, song and dance from across the globe to the heart of early learning.

We give children and their carers hands-on experience of everyday life in different cultures. We explore a wide range of countries in Asia, the Americas, Europe and the Middle East.

Children and adults gain confidence working with traditional instruments, learning about their appearance, feel and sound. We introduce the basics of rhythm by using simple images which children can interpret in rhythmic ways.
The images used reinforce the culture being explored. Bringing music and maths together, using beat patterns, counting and number names in rhythms. Simple dance steps taken from world cultures develop physicality and expression and reinforce rhythm and counting skills.

We also use international stories that reflect their culture through visual imagery and language. Stories become a creative experience by making their environment and atmosphere come to life. Through our projects children also develop their sensory awareness of other cultures by cooking traditional food which is tasty and nutritious.
