DASS staff pages style guildlines

Please provide a short individual profile - written in the FIRST person - three for four paragraphs - between 100 and 300 words. The profile should deal with the following areas:

Job title
Academic qualifications
Current teaching and/or administrative roles
Research and consultancy interests
Previous experience
Professional memberships
Your email address

If you wish you may also provide a CV below your short profile. This would be a suitable place to list recent publications and research activity in more detail.

Before you begin you need to understand a few things that make web pages different from print documents. This has an impact on how you space rows and columns on your page.

If you press the return key to make a new paragraph - there will always be a double line space between the rows
If you want to make a new line but don't want to make a double line space - use the following method: with the shift key held down press the return key
bear in mind that the tab key does not work on web pages. Therefore please do not tabulate anything on your page. Instead of using columns to organise information - please use rows

Many members of staff would like their photos to appear on their profile page. Photos of some DASS members of staff have already be taken. Have a look at your photo here. If you would NOT like your photo to be included on your profile page - please let me know (c.lane@londonmet.ac.uk) - otherwise I will assume that you would like to have it included. You don't need to do anything yourself to have your photo included on your page - I'll do it for you.
